Tendances Première: The Dossier - Returning to work after cancer: What can NLP do?
Return to work after cancer: What can NLP do? Magali Mertens has been raising awareness in institutions and the general public for several years to improve the management of a return to work after cancer with her non-profit association Work & Cancer. A return which is by no means obvious: the side effects of the disease and its treatment which can last several months (if not several years), the adaptation to be put in place, but also the fears and the stress that you have to be able to manage. And as the disease often forms a parenthesis, which isolates the patient from his social and professional life, especially when this absence lasts several months, the psychological aspects must also be taken into account. NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) can be a valuable tool. We talk about it with Magali Mertens, Certified Coach and Disability Manager, trainer of future onco-coaches for the Foundation against Cancer.
